Gaibandha: Police recovered the severed body of a woman, who was allegedly run over by a train in the Jamtoli area under Naldanga union in Sadullapur Upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, police reported that the woman's body, aged around 40, was found severed, suggesting she may have been run over by a train.
Upon receiving information about the incident, members of the Balashighat police outpost immediately arrived at the scene. They recovered the body parts and transported them to Gaibandha General Hospital for an autopsy.
The identity of the deceased remains unknown at this time, as stated by Abdul Goni, the in-charge of Balashighat police outpost.
