Patuakhali: A motorcycle rider lost his life in a tragic road accident when a trolley collided with his bike at Kanakadia Bazar in Bauphal upazila. The incident resulted in the death of Sajibul Islam Sajal, a 29-year-old resident of Narayanpasha village under Kanakdia union.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred at approximately 12:30 pm when a trolley, approaching from the opposite direction, struck Sajal's motorcycle. This collision left Sajal critically injured. Aktaruzzaman Sarker, the Officer-in-Charge of Bauphal Police Station, confirmed the details of the incident.
Following the accident, Sajal was rushed to Bauphal Upazila Health Complex. However, despite efforts by the medical team, the on-duty doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The police have apprehended the trolley driver and brought him to the police station. Officer-in-Charge Sarker stated that legal action is forthcoming in connection to the incident.
