Dhaka: One new COVID-19 case was detected across the country in the last 24 hours till 8 am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, samples of seven individuals were tested, while no death related to COVID-19 was reported in the past 24 hours, the release added.
A total of 32 people have died from the virus since January 2025. Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in the country stands at 29,531.
