Dhaka: BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended his greetings and congratulations to Muslims worldwide, including those in Bangladesh, on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, which will be celebrated on September 6. In his message, he emphasized the significance of Eid-e-Miladunnabi as a time to celebrate the arrival of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and to learn from his life.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tarique Rahman highlighted the importance and joy associated with the day marking the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), whom he described as a mercy for the entire world and the greatest gift from Allah. He reflected on the enlightening impact of the Prophet's appearance, noting that it brought well-being and peace to mankind, while liberating them from injustice, prejudice, oppression, and discrimination.
Rahman further elaborated on how the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) served as a guide to humanity's liberation, offering an exemplary path of justice and righteousness. He praised the Prophet's qualities, such as honesty, generosity, tolerance, and deep faith, which enabled him to fulfill the responsibility of spreading the message of the Quran.
In his message, Rahman also addressed the state of lawlessness during the dark ages and the transformative role the Prophet played as the Rahmatul-il-Alamin, establishing truth, justice, and fairness through Islam. He expressed his wish for everyone to follow the teachings, ideals, and sacrifices of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in their own lives.
