Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are likely to occur in various parts of the country over the next 24 hours, starting at 9:00 am today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD bulletin specified that the rainfall is expected to impact many places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions. Additionally, a few areas in the Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Sylhet divisions may experience moderately heavy to heavy rainfall. Furthermore, the met office has predicted a slight decrease in day and night temperatures across the country.
On Thursday, Rajshahi recorded the highest temperature in the country at 35.3 degrees Celsius, while Sylhet experienced the lowest temperature at 23.8 degrees Celsius. In the capital city of Dhaka, residents can expect the sun to set at 6:20 pm today and rise at 5:40 am tomorrow.
