Kushtia: Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia today held admission tests for the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes for the 2024-25 academic session. The examinations took place at the university's Ibn Sina Science Academic Building.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 108 candidates participated in the tests, with 70 candidates appearing for the MPhil programme and 38 for the PhD programme. The university ensured that the examination process was conducted smoothly and without any disruptions.
IU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah visited the exam venue, accompanied by Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. M Yeaqub Ali, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Jahangir Alam, deans of various faculties, the proctor, and the student adviser of the university. Their visit was aimed at overseeing the conduct of the admissions process and ensuring that all protocols were followed efficiently.
