Shibganj: A free eye camp was held today in Shibganj upazila in the district seeking recovery of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the eye camp was held at Pakuria Government Primary School in Deuli Union of Shibganj upazila. Saudi Arabia Eastern BNP Acting President Dr Golam Hasnain Sohan conducted the eye camp.
Medical services and medicines were provided to about 300 helpless people on the occasion.
Dr Golam Hasnain Sohan stated that this medical camp will be continued in 12 unions and 1 municipality of Shibganj upazila. In the first phase, the camp activities will start from his union Deuli.
Local leaders of BNP and associate bodies were present on the occasion.
