Chittagong: Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla, and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No 3 due to the formation of deep convection over the North Bay.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department issued a warning message urging these ports to maintain the hoisting of local cautionary signal number three. The advisory highlights the potential for challenging weather conditions in the area.

All fishing boats and trawlers currently operating over the North Bay have been instructed to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice. This measure is intended to ensure the safety of maritime operations as the weather situation develops.
