Dhaka: The results of the two-year Kamil (postgraduate) Examination-2023 under the Islamic Arabic University (IAU) have been published, showing a pass rate of 92.72 percent. IAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Shamsul Alam officially announced the results today, as stated in a press release.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Examination Controller Mohammad Ali handed over the results to the Vice-Chancellor. The event was attended by Pro-VC Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Pro-VC Professor Dr. Muhammad Abu Zafar Khan, Treasurer ASM Mamunur Rahman Khalili, Dean of the Curriculum Development and Evaluation Centre Professor Dr. Muhammad Shazaat Ullah Farooqui, and Director (Planning and Development) Professor Dr. Md Rafiq Al Mamun, among others.
A total of 41,843 candidates appeared for the examinations in the first and final years, with 38,751 students successfully passing. Among them, 280 students achieved the highest grade of A+. The pass rate was recorded at 87.83 percent for the first-year students, while the final-year students achieved a pass rate of 97.61 percent.
The examinations were conducted from May 3 to June 26, and detailed information regarding the results can be accessed on the university's website at www.result.iau.edu.bd.
