Manikganj: A CNG driver was killed in a head-on collision on the Saturia-Daragram road today at noon. The deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam, 55, son of Ajan Mia from the village of Gopalpur under Boraid union of Saturia upazila in the district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Saturia, Shahinul Islam, reported that the accident occurred when a CNG bound for Daragram collided head-on with an autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the collision resulted in the death of the CNG driver on the spot.
The body of the deceased was sent to the morgue of Manikganj Medical College Hospital.
