Dhaka: The government has extended Monir Haider’s role as the special assistant (consensus building) to the Chief Adviser for another six months, maintaining his status as a senior secretary.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this decision follows Haider’s previous contractual appointment. A gazette notification issued by the public administration ministry confirmed that the extension will be in effect until February 15, 2026.
