Savar: Bangladesh national women’s volleyball team’s camp is set to commence tomorrow (Saturday) at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) in Savar, as they prepare for two upcoming international competitions.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) general secretary Bimal Ghosh Bhulu shared that thirty-five players have reported to the federation for the camp. The athletes were sent to BKSP this afternoon to begin their extensive training.
The camp will be conducted under a local coach and is scheduled to continue until January next year. The women’s volleyball team is gearing up for participation in the CAVA Women’s Championship 2025, which is set to take place in the Maldives from September 24 to 30. Following this, the team will compete in the 14th South Asian Games, scheduled to occur from January 23 to 31 across three cities in Pakistan.
