CA to Receive Honorary Doctorate Degree from UKM on Aug 13

Dhaka: Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the national university of Malaysia, will confer an honorary doctorate degree on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus during his visit to Malaysia on August 13.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shah Asif Rahman announced the conferment at a press briefing. He stated that the award would be presented to the Honorable Chief Adviser, acknowledging his contributions and achievements.

During his visit, Professor Yunus is scheduled to deliver a commemorative lecture to the students of UKM. This engagement is part of his three-day state visit to Malaysia. Rahman also mentioned that Professor Yunus will have the opportunity to meet with UKM Chancellor and Ruler of Negeri Sembilan Province, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, on the third day of his visit.

Chief Adviser Professor Yunus is set to commence his visit to Malaysia today, marking the beginning of this significant international engagement.
