Dhaka: In the nationwide crackdown against the criminals, police arrested 2946 more crime suspects in the last 48 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, 1827 of them were captured in previous cases and pending warrants and 1119 others on various criminal charges.
One locally made revolver, three single-barrel guns, seven rounds of cartridges, one local LG and several sharp weapons were recovered during the operation.
