Dhaka: A colorful get together and life member registration programme of the former HSC students of Rajshahi College was held in the capital today. Rajshahi College Alumni Association (RCHSCAA) organized the programme at Kamrul Islam Siddique auditorium of the LGED Bhaban at Agargaon in the city.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the programme began with the recitation of the holy Quran while organizing committee convener Major General (retd) M Ashiquzzaman presided over it. Various segments, including the history of the college, its heritage, and pictures from tours of different batches, were presented through a digital display. The assistance programmes of the Alumni during the corona epidemic and cloth distribution during the winter were also highlighted.
Later, alumni members participated in a cultural function that included songs, poetry recitations, and a comedy show. The event saw participation from alumni of different batches since 1972.
