Dhaka: Additional Secretary (Colleges) Md Mujibur Rahman has been assigned the responsibility of performing routine duties as the secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education. This decision was formalized through an official order issued by the education ministry today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the office order specifies that Additional Secretary Md Mujibur Rahman will continue in this role until a new secretary is appointed to the Secondary and Higher Education Division. This temporary arrangement follows the withdrawal of Senior Secretary (Contractual) Siddique Zubair, a decision announced on Wednesday, July 23, amid ongoing student protests.
