Dhaka: Former Vice President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Mohammad Bashiruddin, passed away on 22 July, 2025 at a city hospital while receiving treatment. He was 63.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, President of Dhaka Chamber Taskeen Ahmed, along with members of the board of directors, expressed their deepest condolences at his passing and extended profound compassion to the bereaved family members.
Mohammad Bashiruddin was a businessman engaged in the food and bakery industry, agro-business, real estate development, importing, and restaurant chains. He held the position of Managing Director at several companies, including Capital Agro Aqua Enterprise Ltd., Capital Siraj Centre Shopping Mall, Canary Ltd., and Digital Agro Industries Ltd. He also served as a Director of Capital Confectionary.
After his Namaz-e-Janaza, which took place in front of his residence on Bailey Road, he was laid to rest at the Gopibagh Panchayat Committee graveyard.
