Gaibandha: A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a tractor in the Sreerampur area under Sadullapur upazila of the district this afternoon. The deceased was identified as Enamul Haque, 20, son of Belal Hossain of Boulmari village under Mithapukur upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-Charge of Sadullapur Thana Taz Uddin Sarker stated that Enamul was heading towards Naldanga Bazar on a motorcycle from Rahmatpur. As he reached the Sreerampur area, a tractor struck him from behind, resulting in critical injuries.
Locals immediately rescued Enamul and transported him to Sadullapur Upazila Health Complex. However, upon arrival, on-duty doctors declared him dead.
