Laxmipur: Laxmipur municipality has announced a Taka 103 crore annual budget for the 2025-26 financial year. The municipality administrator Jasim Uddin revealed the budget during an event at the municipality office hall room.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the administrator stated that the municipality’s income for the 2025-26 financial year has been estimated at Taka 102 crore 79 lakh 86 thousand 391. The expenditure for the year is expected to match the income, resulting in a balanced budget.
Present at the budget announcement were District Public Health Engineering Department Executive Engineer Bilkis Akhter, Municipal Executive Officer Khan Mohammad Faravi, Executive Engineer Zulfikar Hossain, Accounts Officer Shahadat Hossain, among others.
