Dhaka: A national Wushu coaches training course concluded at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital today. Youth and Sports Secretary Md Mahbub-ul Alam attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest, where he distributed ID cards and certificates to the trainees who successfully completed the course.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the closing ceremony was also attended by Li Shaopeng, the Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, who was present as a special guest. The President of the Bangladesh Wushu Federation (BWF), Major General ASM Ridwanur Rahman, presided over the event, while the General Secretary of BWF, Shifu Dildar Hasan Dilu, delivered the welcome speech.
The training course was organized by the BWF and saw participation from a total of 95 trainees, with 70 individuals focusing on Sanda events and 25 on Taolu events. The course spanned over three days and aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of Wushu coaches in the country.
