Bangladesh Meteorological Department Predicts Rain Across Several Divisions

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that the country will experience rain or thunder showers accompanied by lightning and temporary gusty winds over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD bulletin specified that light to moderate rain or thunder showers are likely to affect many areas within the Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Additionally, a few places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Mymensingh divisions may also see rain with moderately heavy to heavy falls expected particularly in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.



The meteorological department also mentioned that there might not be significant changes in day and night temperatures across the country. The highest temperature recorded on Sunday was 35.3 degrees Celsius in Dimla, located in the Rangpur Division, while the minimum temperature today was noted at 23.9 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.



Residents of the capital can expect the sun to set at 6:50 pm today, with sunrise scheduled for 5:15 am tomorrow.
