Dhaka: Assistant Chief of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad today distributed certificates among graduating officers of No 11 Squadron Commanders’ Course (SCC). The closing ceremony of the SCC was held at Bangladesh Air Force Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI) at BAF Base Cox’s Bazar.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, addressing the ceremony as the chief guest, Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad emphasized the importance of command and leadership traits and skills, which are crucial for future assignments. He appreciated the institute for successfully conducting the course.
The release from Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) indicated that Air Vice Marshal A F M Shamimul Islam, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Cox’s Bazar, and Group Captain Abu Saleh Mahmud Mannafi, Officer Commanding of Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI), received the chief guest. The Officer Commanding, CSTI, provided a brief overview of the training and academic curricula of No. 11 SCC during the opening address.
The course aims to provide management and leadership training to potential Squadron Commanders of BAF. Since its inception in 2009, CSTI has been responsible for preparing future leaders of the Bangladesh Armed Forces to serve the nation with dignity and honor.
Later, the chief guest handed over certificates to all graduating officers and participated in a photography session with them. The closing ceremony was also attended by senior officers of BAF and other guests.
