Dhaka: Information and Broadcasting Adviser Mahfuj Alam today expressed deep shock at the death of maintenance engineer Mohammad Azim Uddin of the Directorate of Mass Communication. "Mohammad Azim Uddin was a skilled officer and observed his duty with utmost sincerity," he said in a condolence message. The adviser also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Information Secretary Mahbuba Farzana, Director General of Mass Communication Directorate Md Nizamul Kabir, BCS Information Association President Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin, and Secretary General Md. Mamun-or Rashid also expressed their condolences on Azim Uddin's death. Azim Uddin died this morning while undergoing treatment at Sarkari Karmochari (Govt. Employee) Hospital.
