Raiganj: A man lost his life in a road accident at the Bhuiyagati bus stand in Raiganj upazila of the district. The individual who died in the accident was identified as Khagendranath Mahato, son of Ranglal Chandra Mahato, residing in Uttar Faridpur village of Raiganj upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the tragic incident occurred when a Bogura-bound passenger bus collided with a motorbike. The collision resulted in the immediate death of the bike rider, Khagendranath Mahato, on the spot. Following the accident, the local police took swift action by sending the body to the upazila health complex morgue for an autopsy.
The authorities have managed to seize the bus involved in the accident. Additionally, a case has been filed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
