Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has approved the disbursement of prize money and ticket sales revenue to the franchises of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). This decision was made during an emergency meeting held on May 31 at the BCB headquarters in the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of Tk. 3.55 crore will be distributed among the seven teams that participated in the tournament. The four teams that reached the playoffs are set to receive Tk. 55 lakh each, while the remaining three teams will receive Tk. 45 lakh each. However, after accounting for outstanding fees, franchise fees, and other expenses, the teams will receive the remaining amount.

Fortune Barishal claimed the championship title in the most recent BPL season after defeating Chittagong Kings.
