Jhenaidah: A man was killed and three others injured in a road accident at Dhanharia area of Sadar upazila here this morning. The deceased was identified as Mithu Mondal, 45, son of Shafi Mondal, a resident of Basoil village in Magura district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred on the Jhenaidah-Magura road around 5 am when a CNG-run auto rickshaw collided with an easy bike coming from the opposite direction. This collision resulted in injuries to Mithu Mondal, who was riding the easy bike, along with three others, confirmed Mrityunjoy Biswas, Officer-in-Charge of Arappur Highway Police Station.
The injured individuals were immediately transported to Sadar Hospital. Upon arrival, the on-duty doctor declared Mithu Mondal dead.
