Kushtia: A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-12 has arrested the main accused in the case filed over the rape of a 12-year-old child in Mirpur upazila of the district. The arrestee was identified as Sabbir Hossain, 19.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this information was provided in a press release sent by the RAB’s Law and Media Wing today. The release detailed that RAB apprehended Hossain this evening in Mirpur, Kushtia, with assistance from the Intelligence Wing of the RAB headquarters.
Earlier, the victim’s father filed a case with the Mirpur Police Station, Kushtia, accusing Sabbir Hossain of raping the child.
