Dhaka: Three persons were killed and 25 others injured in a road accident in the Indrachar area of Chandina upazila on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway of the district this evening. The accident involved a Cumilla-bound passenger bus that collided with a roadside tree after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The impact resulted in the immediate death of three individuals, while 25 others sustained injuries.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the identities of the deceased have not yet been determined, as stated by the police. Following the accident, Chandia Thana police and Fire Service teams quickly arrived at the scene to assist and rescue the injured passengers. The injured individuals were transported to Cumilla Medical College Hospital for further medical treatment.
