Five Eid Jamaats Scheduled at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque

Dhaka: Five Eid jamaats will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr. The first congregation will commence at 7am, followed by the second at 8am, the third at 9am, and the fourth at 10am. The final Eid jamaat is scheduled for 10:45am.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque’s Pesh Imam, Hafez Mufti Maulana Muhibbullahil Baki, is set to lead the first congregation. The subsequent jamaat will be led by senior Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman.



Islamic Foundation Muhaddis Dr Maulana Mufti Waliur Rahman Khan will preside over the third Eid jamaat, while Dr Mushtaq Ahmed from the Islamic Foundation will lead the fourth. The fifth and final congregation will be conducted by Islamic Foundation Mufti Md Abdullah at the national mosque.



In the event that any imam is unable to lead the prayer, Islamic Foundation deputy director Maulana Md Jakir Hossain will step in to conduct the Eid jamaat.
