Kurigram: The Rapid Action Battalion arrested the main accused in a rape case in Kurigram district town on Monday afternoon. The individual, from Lalmonirhat’s South Musharat Madati village, was charged with raping his elder brother’s wife on July 5, 2024, after luring her with promises of marriage.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, following the victim’s complaint at Hatibandha Police Station, RAB-13’s Crime Prevention Specialized Company (CPSC) conducted an operation and apprehended the accused at 3:00 pm. The arrested individual was later handed over to Hatibandha Police Station for further legal action.
