CA Mourns Death of Magura Rape Victim, Orders Legal Actions Against Perpetrators

Dhaka: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of the eight-year-old Magura rape victim, who breathed her last today at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital Dhaka while undergoing treatment there since March 8.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Chief Adviser's Office released a statement in which Professor Yunus conveyed his profound shock at the tragic death of the child. The statement emphasized the government's commitment to securing justice for the young victim.

In response to this heartbreaking incident, the head of the government issued an immediate order to expose the perpetrators to justice. The move reflects the administration's resolve to address the crime and ensure that those responsible are held accountable under the law.
