Dhaka: Bank Women's Development Cup Hockey will begin tomorrow at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the capital. Youth and Sports Secretary Md. Rezaul Maksud Jahedi is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the tournament is organized by the Bangladesh Hockey Federation. A total of 11 teams, consisting of 10 district teams and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP), will participate in the competition. The teams are divided into two groups for the event.
Group A consists of teams from Dinajpur district, Jessore district, Chattogram district, Patuakhali district, and Rajshai district. Meanwhile, Group B includes BKSP, Jhenaidah district, Thakurgaon district, Rangpur district, Cumilla district, and Kishorganj district.
