Three Detained with 55 Liters of Local Made Liquor in Chittagong

Chittagong: Narcotics Control Department (NCD) in separate drives detained three drug traders with 55 liters country made liquor and 250 gram ganja from different areas in the city last night. Humayon Kabir Khondhokar, Deputy Director of NCD, stated that a team detained drug traders Shamsul Alam, 39, Iskandor Ali, 55, and Titu Das, 47, with 55 liters of local made liquor from the city’s Rahattarpool area around 11.30 pm.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the detainees with the liquor were handed over to the local police station this morning. A case has been filed with Chandgaon Thana, following the operation. The NCD has been actively conducting operations to curb the illegal trade and distribution of narcotics in the region.
