DMP Files 1,481 Cases for Violating Traffic Rules

Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,481 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP Traffic Division conducted these actions and collected fines on March 5 during a regular drive against traffic rule violators, as stated in a press release.

The DMP release detailed that 218 motor vehicles were dumped and 32 vehicles were wrecked during the campaign against traffic rules violations. It further mentioned that these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on the city streets.
