Dhaka: A court here today ordered the seizure of six houses and eight plots in Purbachal belonging to NASA Group Chairman Nazrul Islam Majumder, along with the freezing of 56,06,58,000 shares across his 55 companies. Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md. Zakir Hossain Ghalib issued the order in response to the plea filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the seized immovable assets include Plot No. 47 in the Gulshan South Commercial area and a 14-storey building located on the plot, valued at Tk 50 crore. Additionally, Plot No. 3 in SE (D) Block of Gulshan Model Town Residential Area, which features a 14-storey house, has a market value of Tk 70 crore.
Furthermore, the assets add a two-storey house worth Tk 4 crore and a four-storey house worth Tk 6 crore. Also included is a house valued at Tk 4 crore located in Mohakhali, along with a three-storey building in the Tejgaon industrial area worth Tk 50 crore.
