10 More Arrested in Connection with Assault on Sub Inspector at Patenga Sea Beach

Patenga: Patenga police have apprehended 10 additional individuals linked to the assault on a sub inspector (SI) and the theft of his belongings at Patenga Sea Beach. The arrests occurred at an under-construction building in the Panchlaish area of the city today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrested individuals are Shuvo, 19, Arif Pramanik, 35, Ganpati, 57, Hamidur Rahman, 30, Rumel, 30, Rohan, 20, Rabbi, 35, Jibon, 26, Siam Sheikh, 18, and Rezaul Karim, 45. The Officer-in-Charge, Shafiqul Islam, of Patenga police station reported that the victimized SI personally identified the suspects, all of whom have confessed to their roles in the attack.



The suspects have been presented before the court, and legal proceedings are underway concerning the incident.
