Dhaka: The online transfer process for government primary school teachers within their respective upazilas commenced today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Directorate of Primary Education issued a directive announcing that the online application process for this transfer will remain open until February 27.
The directive specifies that assistant teachers currently assigned to upazilas different from their own will be prioritized for transfer back to their home upazilas, in alignment with article 3.6 of the Integrated Online Transfer Guidelines, 2023. Starting February 28, headmasters of primary schools will begin verifying the applications submitted by assistant teachers.
The verification process will be finalized by the assistant upazila or thana primary education officer on March 1. As stipulated in the transfer application terms, teachers are allowed to select up to three schools in their order of preference. In cases where teachers do not have multiple options, they may choose just one or two schools.
