Dhaka: The new-look Bangladesh women’s national football team reached United Arab Emirates (UAE) this morning safely to take part in the two friendly matches against host UAE. The Bangladesh eve football team will play a FIFA Women’s International Friendly Football match under the FIFA window on February 26.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the women’s football team will also play a friendly football match scheduled to be held on March 2. The team comprises a robust squad including players such as Mst Yearzan Begum, Mile Akter, Meghla Rani Roy, and others, with Afeida Khandakar serving as captain.
The team’s official delegation includes Peter James Butler as the head coach, Mahmuda Akter as the team manager, and additional support staff like assistant coaches Md Mahbubur Rahman Litu and Mirona, along with Masud Ahamad as the goalkeeper coach. The media and analysis team includes Khalid Mahmud as the media officer, Abdullah Nasif Islam as the video analyst, and Laizu Yeasmin Lipa as the physiotherapist.
