Teknaf: The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) during a drive seized four lakh pieces of yaba tablets from Teknaf early today. Teknaf Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Ashikur Rahman informed that a BGB team, based on secret information, conducted the raid at Keura Jungle on the bank of Naf River and seized the contraband items in four sacks.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, none could be arrested in connection with the seizure. The seized items have been handed over to the authorities concerned, and legal action is underway.
