Dhaka: Ambassador of Argentina to Bangladesh Marcelo Cesa today paid a courtesy call on Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain at his ministry. During their meeting, they discussed a range of contemporary issues, including employment opportunities for Bangladeshi youth, exploring international labor markets, the growth of the ready-made garment (RMG) sector, cultural exchanges between Argentina and Bangladesh, and developments in the sports sector.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Asif Mahmud, who also serves as the adviser for Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives, highlighted the potential for collaboration between the two countries, particularly in cultural and sports sectors. He expressed optimism about working together on broader issues such as agriculture, trade, commerce, and environmental concerns.
The meeting was attended by several notable officials, including Kazi Anarkoly, Director General of the South America Wing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tarik Hasan, Director of the South America Wing, Siam Rahman, Assistant Secretary of the South America Wing, and senior officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
