Dhaka: The train movement today resumed across the country as the running employees of Bangladesh Railway have withdrawn their work abstention, an official release said. So the ongoing bus services to and from Dhaka to other destinations temporarily initiated by Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) for the convenience of the railway passengers have been removed, it said.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the resumption of train services comes after negotiations with railway employees, who had previously ceased work, impacting the national railway operations. The temporary bus services provided by BRTC had aimed to mitigate the inconvenience faced by passengers during the disruption. With the withdrawal of the work abstention, normalcy is expected to return to the national transport network, easing travel for commuters across the country.
