DHAKA: Members of the Tablighi Jamaat following Maulana Zubayer Ahmed and Maulana Muhammad Saad Kandhalvi have been instructed to carry out their religious activities within their designated mosques to prevent potential conflicts. This directive aims to maintain harmony and discipline among the factions.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Home Affairs Ministry issued this order on December 30, instructing the followers of the two groups to refrain from engaging in any disputes by avoiding presence at the same mosque nationwide. The order, signed by Deputy Secretary Dr. Mohammad Abdus Salam, emphasizes the importance of conducting night stays, known as Sobgujari, at the Tablighi Jamaat’s Kakrail mosque while upholding peace and order.

The directive is seen as part of a broader effort to ensure that the Tablighi Jamaat’s activities are conducted smoothly and without incident. By assigning specific mosques for each faction’s activities, the ministry aims to minimize the risk of clashes and promote a peaceful religious environment.
