GAZIPUR: Four individuals lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the Chandana-Chourasta area of Gazipur on Wednesday night. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the victims were identified as Saleha Akter, 26, Imran Hossain Rajon, 38, Md Mamun, 23, and Md Dulal, 42. The accident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. when an auto-rickshaw became trapped between a truck and a covered van after being struck by the truck. The collision resulted in one fatality at the scene, while three others sustained critical injuries. The injured were transported to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College and Hospital, where medical professionals pronounced them dead. Sub Inspector Kamrul Islam, the duty officer at Bason Thana, confirmed the details of the incident.
