Dhaka: A 30-member delegation of Voice for Global Bangladeshis called on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna here this evening. The delegation comprised representatives from the United States, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and Greece, as stated by the chief adviser’s press wing.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the meeting, the delegation assured the chief adviser of their full cooperation and briefly discussed various demands aimed at establishing fair rights for expatriates. They also submitted written statements and demands to Prof Yunus.
Expressing his sincere thanks to the delegation, Prof Yunus mentioned that the scope of discussion with them has just begun. “Due to the lack of time, not much was said. I listened to it briefly. I will know the details from the written letter. These will be discussed later,” he added.
Prof Yunus also urged the delegation to present accurate information about Bangladesh in the international ar
ena, including the United Kingdom.
