Chattogram: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman announced that ‘Amra BNP Paribar’ (We are BNP family), a dedicated cell within the party, has become widely popular as a reliable source of support for individuals facing distress. Rahman highlighted the cell’s growing influence and role in aiding those in need.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rahman, who also serves as the cell’s patron, made these remarks during a question-answer session at a Chattogram divisional workshop. The event, held at the Engineers Institution auditorium, focused on ’31 points for repairing the state structure and public engagement.’
Rahman elaborated on the motivations behind the formation of ‘Amra BNP Paribar,’ stating, “It was formed with the determination to stand by the victims of enforced disappearances and murders and martyrs and injured in the mass students-people mass upsurge in July against the government of the fascist Sheikh Hasina, who fled Bangladesh in the face of the mass uprisi
ng.” The cell aims to provide support and solidarity to those affected by these events, further cementing its role as a vital component of the BNP’s outreach and community support initiatives.
