Dhaka: The government has appointed Foyez Ahammad, a journalist from New Age, an English language newspaper, as the senior assistant press secretary to the Chief Advisor of the interim government. This significant appointment was made official through a gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration, following the order of President Mohammed Shahbuddin. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the duration of Foyez Ahammad's contractual appointment will depend on the tenure of the Chief Advisor or be subject to the Chief Advisor's satisfaction, starting from the date of his joining. The notification further elaborated that other conditions of the appointment would be determined through an agreement, emphasizing that the order was issued in the interest of the public.
