Cumilla: Spirited Bashundhara Kings will take on Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited in the big match of Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League Football scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday) at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla. The match kicks off at 2.30 pm.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this will be the second meeting between the two sides this season. The teams previously faced off in the newly introduced Bangladesh 2.0 Challenge Cup at Bashundhara Kings Arena, where Kings emerged victorious with a 3-1 win to claim the inaugural tournament title.
In a separate fixture of the BPL, Chittagong Abahani Limited is set to meet Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh at the same time, 2.30 pm. Earlier in the season, Bashundhara Kings dominated Chittagong Abahani Limited with a 7-0 victory, while Mohammedan crushed Dhaka Wanderers Club by 6-0 in their respective first-round matches.
