RAJSHAHI: Special Assistant to the Adviser of the Interim Government on Education, Prof Aminul Islam, announced today that the interim government is actively working to reform the education system to align with current demands. The initiatives aim to involve all relevant stakeholders in successfully transforming the education sector.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Prof Islam expressed these views during a discussion with teachers at Rajshahi University’s senate building, where he served as the chief guest. Prof Islam emphasized the urgent need for skilled manpower equipped with modern education to support Bangladesh’s ongoing development. He urged educationists and researchers to contribute to formulating plans to enhance the country’s focus on quality education.
The meeting, chaired by Rajshahi University Vice-Chancellor Prof Saleh Hassan Naquib, also featured addresses from Pro-Vice Chancellors Prof Mayeen Uddin and Prof Farid Uddin Khan, as well as Treasurer Prof Matiar Rahman.
