Beijing: The Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) and the Beijing Culture and Tourism Bureau have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting bilateral tourism and fostering stronger collaboration in the sector. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the MoU intends to facilitate the exchange of trade missions and delegations, share market information, address the needs of travelers from both nations, and enhance cooperation in training, capacity building, and tourism events. The agreement was formalized in Beijing, with ATAB President Abdus Salam Aref and Director of the Beijing Culture and Tourism Bureau Wan Wei signing on behalf of their respective organizations. Present at the signing were ATAB Secretary General Afsia Jannat Saleh, Vice President Mr. Abu Zafar, and other members. Aref noted that the MoU marks a significant milestone in fostering tourism and cultural exchange between Bangladesh and China. He emphasized that it reflects a shared commitment to advancing th e interests of travelers and tourism stakeholders in both countries. The agreement is anticipated to open new avenues for cooperation, benefiting both nations' travel and tourism industries through innovative initiatives and shared expertise.
