BCB Announces Squad for U19 Asia Cup.

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today announced the squad for the ACC U19 Men's Asia Cup to be held in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The team, led by Azizul Hakim Tamim, will be departing Dhaka for the UAE on November 24. Ahead of the event, the team will have a pre-tournament camp in the UAE during which it will play a warm-up match against India at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on November 26. Bangladesh are drawn in Group B alongside Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Nepal. The Group A comprises India, Pakistan, hosts UAE, and Japan. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh youngsters will kick off the tournament by taking on Afghanistan on November 29. They will then face off against Nepal and Sri Lanka on December 1 and 3 respectively. All of the Group B matches will be held in Dubai while Group A matches will take place in Sharjah. The final of the tournament is scheduled for December 8 in Dubai. The Bangladesh U19 squad includes Azizul Hakim Tamim as Captain and Zawad Abrar as Vice-captai n, along with Rifat Beg, Samiun Basir Ratul, Debashis Sarkar Deba, Rizan Hossan, Al Fahad, Iqbal Hasan Emon, Rafiuzzaman Rafi, Farid Hasan Faysal, Maruf Mridha, Shihab James, Ashrafuzzaman, and Saad Islam Razin. The standby players are Kalam Siddiki Aleen (Traveling Reserve), Shahriar Ajmir, Yeasir Arafat, and Sanjid Mojumder.
